Social media marketing is an essential part of any marketing effort today. More than 54% of the world’s population uses social. In North America social media saturation is at 74% and continuing to grow. Over the course of the pandemic, we’ve witnessed a significant rise in both volume and engagement in social media content. And there are more platforms at play than ever before.

There is certainly no shortage of advice on how to break through the noise and make an impact. I don’t want to repeat the trends but rather offer my personal takeaways from this past year on how to use social media as an effective marketing and communications tool.
